Library


SPI offers a comprehensive library of several pre-defined components: different standard parts, transitions and connectors. If you like to expand the set of ducting templates by self-defined models, you can create template description files for your new models. Every part is prepared to be unfolded without problems because it is pre-connected with material data that are needed for the calculation.

SPI supports creation of arbitrary transitions as well and delivers precise unfoldings of sharp-cornered and filleted sheet metal parts.
 
 

Smooth and easy


Regarding the sheet metal specific technology SPI offers a very user friendly interface: At first you select a category (e.g. Connectors) then you pick one of the special components (e.g. Symmetrical T-Connector) and a dialogue with the parameters of the corresponding shape or connection is displayed.  The easy handling, the precise parameter definitions, the auto­­matic assembly design and the predefined material data, let SPI Ducting Inventor appear as a valuable add-on to the ba­­­­sic Inventor functions and allows a fast return-on-in­vest­ment.
